Studio Marcy - Life is Good
Marcy Lamberson is the creative force behind the ETSY shop Studio Marcy http://StudioMarcy.etsy.com.
She's been melting glass for over 8 years and loving every minute of it, which is obvious when looking at her work. Her studio is a converted sunroom porch that overlooks her lovely backyard populated by birds and wildlife. That sounds very relaxing, but I think my favorite vacation would be a visit into Marcy's mind. Her imagination really tickles me.
Above is Euphonia the Alien Diva, a lampwork glass focal bead that got me laughing out loud.
Next is Blue Bella the Monkey, who has a bit of "Wallace and Grommet" flavor.
Marcy uses a 2000 degree torch and most of her glass comes from Murano, Italy. Every piece is kiln annealed for durability.
Here we have Percival the Rather Shy Fish who has a tender, allusive charm.
Next is Gemma the British Butterfly. Marcy writes amusing 'backstories' for all of her creations, which is part of the fun in shopping with her. I'm including Gemma's story to give you a taste, and to encourage you to head on over to Studio Marcy for some light hearted fun that belies the amazing technical mastery that Marcy has with glass.
"Meet Gemma. She's British. How do I know that? Well she flies in the opposite side of all the other butterflies and I ruled out that she was left handed. (she doesn't have any hands). And the other day, she was asking for tea around late afternoon, when most of the American butterflies are asking for a double espresso with cream and pollen from Starbucks.
Gemma also likes some of the weirdest comedy shows I've ever seen. I won't comment any further, as some of you might be fans also, but I happen to know that I just don't get it, unless it's Monty Python."
While Marcy Lamberson's forte is sculptural amusing beads, she enjoys challenges and is open to any special orders.

Cryztal Visions - Express Your Magic
Cryztalvisions* is the ETSY shop of lifetime jewelry artist Beth Alexander http://cryztalvisions.etsy.com. As long as she can remember she's been fascinated by the natural world, particularly geology, crystals and gemstones. Beth is someone who early on found her bliss and she describes her work as transporting her to a place of deep knowing, relaxation and happiness.
She describes her work as a constant exploration of the interconnectedness of all life. Above is Beth's circle pendant, an ancient and universal symbol of unity, wholeness, infinity, the goddess, the circle of life, and female power.
Beth writes with clarity about her process: "I've been creating unique pieces of jewelry for almost 20 years now, and I'm still excited by the process and I have an almost insatiable appetite for learning new techniques of the craft. Along the way I have also been drawn to studying and practicing various energy healing arts, like Reiki, chakra balancing, Earth based energy medicine, shamanic practices, and Angel Therapy. I have found combining my love of minerals, my artistic eye and skill in jewelry fabrication and design, along with my heightened sensitivity to energies creates a powerful synergy."
Above is a fine silver pendant by Beth depicting the Chinese character "Serenity."
And a stunning ring with the Japanese Kanji symbol of Prosperity and Good Fortune. This ring is a custom piece that will be made-to-order in your size.
In this article I have focused on Beth Alexander's work in silver, but she has a large body of work in semi-precious stones and crystals. She believes that crystals and gemstones have their own special energies and powers of protection, insight, healing, and the ability to bring one into balance with the Earth. You can explore this facet of Beth's art at her website: http://www.cryztalvisions.com.
And as befits the informal tech goddess of the membership of the "90 Features in 90 Days Challenge" she maintains several other web presences where you can learn more about her and her work. *What's with the "Z" in Cryztalvisions? You may ask. It's a homage to one of Beth's favorite teachers who pronounced crystals: "creezzztals".

That's Headley - I Love Rocks!
Here's "Purple Reign" a woven wire bracelet by Ginny Headley, a jeweler with a cool sensibility, and the designer behind ETSY shop "That's Headley" http://thatsheadley.etsy.com. "Purple Reign" is created from more than 250 eye-catching beads of amethyst, pearl, Czech glass, quartz, Bali and Thai silver, and tiny Delica seed beads, all woven with sterling silver wire over a flexible stainless steel frame.
Ginny's beady obsession started with daisy chain chokers in junior high school and she's been hooked ever since.
Above are Headley's great go-everywhere Dewdrop earrings with faceted Aquamarine bead dangling in wire-wrapped hoops.
She says that she love "rocks" the most, but finds glass and crystal fun, too, especially funky-beautiful beads from Africa, like the African beads in this chunky bracelet below where she has combined them with aventurine and jade:
In Ginny's "real" life she serves as a public health consultant in infectious disease and emergency preparedness. Jewelry design is where she let's go in creative play.
She is a member of several ETSY groups: Self Representing Artist Jewelry Designer (SRAJD), the Art Jewelry Collective and the Etsy Texas Crafters (ETC).

Liz Staley's Realm of Nerdiness
Welcome to Liz Staley's Realm of Nerdiness, a world where Liz explores the creative possibilities of technology and draws, sews, crochets, cartoons, writes, makes button pins, plays role playing games and just plain old plays. You'll find the portal to Liz's world at http://lizstaley.etsy.com.
Above is Liz's "Techno Goddess" wallet made from a circuit sheet from inside of a keyboard. It has all the standard wallet fittings and the words "Techno Goddess" goddess symbols painted throughout. Lis points out that as the wallet is assembled with heavy duty clear tape, if it shows wear, a strip of packing tape will patch it right up.
Liz started arting and crafting as a baby, helping her mother paint ceramics, with her brush, a cup of water, and a rubber ducky. She tends to go on "craft binges", where she makes lots of one thing. Currently you'll find lots of buttons with rude sayings and crocheted fingerless gloves like these below:
Here's Liz's cartoon character Sarah, who inspired Liz to make fingerless gloves:
And for one last treat, here's how Liz combines her crochet with her tech interest.......
Liz also has a gallery on DeviantArt and Flickr, both of which you can find with the user name lizstaley.

Earmark Greetings - Create Happiness
Bridgette Salvon-Berndt, Founder and Co-Owner of Earmark Greetings, http://earmark.etsy.com, seems, by her designs, to be a woman with several distinct, and adorable, sides to her personality. Her shop motto is "Create Happiness" and she designs products, like the cheerful orange pencils above and the card below, printed with soy-based inks on recycled paper:
And then she has another side, equally delightful to the reader, but perhaps requiring a great sense of humor, or at least philosophical calm, in the receiver.
Like this elegant, rude card:
Or this set which is perfect for many of life's unpleasant situations:
The texts read: a personal hygiene reminder, you're an ass, i had low expectations anyway, thanks for nothing, thanks for the herpes, don't worry it happens to all guys.
Earmark also offers a wide range of tasteful invitations and journals and offers custom services. You can see the complete invitation line at www.earmarkinvitations.com.

Entyqua - Elemental Jewels by Becki
Becki's Designs is the ETSY shop of Becki Rasmussen, http://entyqua.etsy.com. The shop is a haven for beaded jewelry of natural materials, often of wood and gemstones. Becki is inspired by everything natural and she has a strong interest in the lore and healing properties of stones. Each piece she posts in her shop includes an in depth description that delves into the history and magic of the stones involved.
Pictured above is "The Medallion of Good Luck" a striking example of Becky's work. The Medallion is a necklace of coral, turquoise, aquamarine, and faux pearls with the central piece a medallion is mother of pearl.
Another piece with a similar feel is Simplicity, a necklace and earrings set of Turquoise Swarovski crystal and red seed beads. The earrings are pictured below:
Becky invites inquiries and is open to making her designs in custom sizes. You can learn more about her work at her blog http://beckisdesigns.blogspot.com.
Elle Belle for Pampered Babies
Here are a few of the items I found especially appealing:
This hooded beach towel, so practical at the beach or for drying off toddlers at home.
This super-easy and cute dress or jumper - try it with a tee-shirt or blouse underneath. You can find this style in several colors and patterns, some with contrasting borders, at Elle Belle.
And these multicolor chubbies, chunky crayons that are just the right size and shape for easy gripping with toddler hands.
Elle Belle started with a few crafty friends (Ann, Tressie, Stacey, Karie) who were all making things for their own children. They discussed selling their adorable and chic creations and realized that even each one had a specialty, developing a collaborative shop would be more fun. The variety offered makes for a shop full of interest.

Andrea: ¿De comida? ¡Ay, Juan Emilio, te voy a matar! Te odio. ¿Vos sabés esperar?
Juan Emilio: Sí.Andrea: Bueno, afuera hablamos...

- Andrea: 2 Sebastian - 1 Javi
- Celeste: 2 Sebastian - 1 Javi
- Soledad: 2 Javi - 1 Esteban
