Coconut Palm Designs - Welcome to Paradise

Joanne is a Canadian living in Belize, Central America, a graphic designer, creative since birth, and now a woodworker as well. http://coconutpalmdesigns.etsy.com/
Sign making is her latest venture, and a great outlet for her graphic design training. The signs are all made with Belizean hard or soft woods and sprayed with a clear protective finish in matte or gloss.

Custom orders are welcome and all of Joanne's signs can be personalized. These signs would make great 'new home' gifts or 'new cubicle' for that matter.

Joanne is currently working on a line of garden signs right now, ie. Mom's Garden, Butterfly Crossing, etc. She will shortly be adding signs where the words are painted rather than carved which will allow longer messages on each sign.

Joanne also offers ACEO's in her shop. ACEO stands for Art Card Editions and Originals and they are individual art miniatures. Their usual size is 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the same as commercial trading cards, such as baseball cards and cards for trading card games. Above is an ACEO pencil crayon illustration of a red eye tree frog (Agalichnis callindyas). It is drawn on watercolor paper and is signed and dated on the back.

Joanne also has a blog at: http://coconutpalmdesigns.blogspot.com/ where she participates in the "90 Features in 90 Days Challenge" and interviews artists and designers who sell on ETSY.
